Women's African Dashiki Maxi Ankara Dress Handmade

Description: This dress was brought back from Ethiopia. A friend of mine was traveling and she purchased it as something to remember her trip. HOWEVR she did not try it on and It did not fit. It has never been worn and was probably handmade in the dashiki style cotton dress. It is stunning dark blue and bronze green gold color combination print. It's accented with a bright gold trim along the lines of the dress and is perfect for those who want to explore African fashion. The dress is made in Ethiopia and is a great addition to any world and traditional clothing collection. The neckline has a V Shaped look with an somewhat off the shoulder drop sleeve. Approximately 2/3 of the way down down the dress accentuated by the gold trim, below the trim there is a flounce to the bottom hem. This gives the silhouette of the dress, a dramatic flair.. There is not a label inside this dressHere are the measurement's as best as I can measure these aspects of the dress Measurement of the entire Neckline width taken from to the edge of shoulder / sleeve to opposite shoulder / sleeve, creating an off the shoulder look The width of the dress across the chest / bust line, was measured from under the left sleeve's armpit where it meets the seam of the body of the dress and goes across to the the other side: 17" The total front length of the dress was taken from the shoulders down to the hem : 36" The sleeve length, will include total length of sleeve with the flounce : 15" The length of the back zipper with a small heart shaped figure as the zipper tag (to pull the zipper down and up) is : 18" . It is somewhat iridescent with small sections of different jewel tone colors. Very subtle, and very striking. It is an accent as well.
