Wonderfully Colorful Vintage Japanese Crystal Art Glass Beaded Necklace

Description: Wonderfully colorful vintage Japanese art glass/crystal, Murano style beaded necklace. This bright necklace will most certainly be mistaken for a Murano, Italian art glass necklace. Japan did a great job of turning out their own version of gold foil art glass beads mid-century. This necklace is 22” long and weighs 52.4 grams. It is strung with 10 mm round foil beads in light blue, dark blue, green, pink, red and orange, all of which are capped with ornate little gold metal filigree end-caps and alternate with lovely, 6 mm bi-cone crystal beads in deep green, purple, pink and red. It is finished with a gorgeous sapphire-blue gold foil art glass insert box clasp that works very well. This necklace is in very good vintage condition and it is in original condition. It has not stretched, so it may be strung on some type of sturdy wire instead of cord.
