Our “Deck Chilli” ground peppers are 100% pure pepper of the stated variety grown by us in North Carolina, USA. We select and pick only the freshest ripest peppers, discarding any blemished ones, wash, remove the stalks and slowly dehydrate for up to 24 hours to maintain maximum flavor. The peppers are then ground to a course powder so there is some texture to the product as opposed to a fine powder. Our current production is from peppers picked between September – November 2024. Hard to get fresher than that! Our containers are food grade natural polypropylene jars with sifter cap lids sealed with a protection liner to prevent contamination and leaks and preserving freshness by sealing out air.
