Support for up to 128 channels is provided, and receive-only channels can be added for any frequency in the 400-470 MHz range. The KG-805G features 22 simplex GMRS channels and 8 GMRS repeater channels with 155 CTCSS and DCS privacy tones and codes, channel scan, and adjustable squelch. CTCSS and DCS tones can be set separately for transmit and receive. Wouxun has built in a lighted LCD display with three backlight color options. Backlight colors can be customized based on transmit, receive or standby. The front panel keys are also backlit and voice prompts assist you with menu navigation.
