Description: from the private collection of a 92 year old lifelong baseball fan (recently passed), comes an amazing collection of 42 great cards from yesteryear... these cards are very bright and colorful! they are generally flat and square, and present very well (see pix). some wear here and there, but nothing too major. paper is firm; no bends or "softness" i'm mostly a comic book guy, so when it comes to grading cards, i let the photos do the talking. these cards strike me as being in very nice condition with good "eye appeal" due to how bright and colorful they are. i'm no expert, so please look closely yourself! the first 14 cards, the first 2 photos, are in particularly nice shape. the rest of the cards (33), in the remaining photos, are also in nice shape, but maybe not quite as nice as the first group only 2 of these had obvious creases, and they were small creases. the rest just have general perimeter wear, on a corner or edge. no stains or rips, etc. on any of them! again, please take a good look at the pix i've priced these to be a good deal—a great opportunity to get some great cards at a good price! newly placed in (hard plastic/toploader) sleeves the 1941 "play ball" series these card is from, is one of the more sought-after card series, with numerous well known players featured. i recently acquired the aforementioned gentleman's near-complete collection of these "play ball" and also "double play" cards. i will be posting them for sale on ebay over the coming weeks, so feel free to look for my other listings! buy with confidence—it’s easier to trust an ebay seller with 100% positive feedback over tens of thousands of sales, and raves about accurate descriptions/photos and great customer service! ships super-fast, super-safely and well protected! you know you want these great cards—come & get 'em! thanks...
