The knife's blade is marked U.S.N. on one side and Robeson Shur Edge on the opposite side.The scabbard is marked U.S.N. There is also a named scratched in the leather. There are also other marks and scratches in the leather, consistent with age, use and storage. The original working snap is present. The knife is missing a section of leather and the pommel is missing. The red spacer is present. Some restoration is necessary to restore the knife to its original condition.
