WWF LJN 1988 Hacksaw JIM DUGGAN + ORIGINAL 2X4, Poster, Card VINTAGE Series 5 NM

Description: I am currently selling more great LJN Wrestling stuff on eBay (mostly the original posters), and everything has "Buy It Now" prices! World Wrestling Federation (WWF, WWE) / Titan Sports / LJN Toys 1988 Wrestling Superstars Series 5 "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan Vintage figure in original near mint condition (no paint touch ups!) Figure comes complete with the original 2x4 accessory, backer card, poster, and cardboard poster cover / holder I am the original owner since day one, and will now discuss the condition and other details of this fantastic offering... For starters, this figure is still in wonderful overall condition. I never played with any wrestlers I collected, as they were bought for display only. However, this figure was not displayed for more than a year because as I was getting older, I had lost interest. I always tried to choose figures that were painted nicely, but LJN wrestlers were seldom perfect, even right out of the package. Sometimes the figures would even stick to the packaging, which this one did. You can see some paper loss to where the figure once stuck, and a bit of paint loss on the figure where it had rubbed against the cardback. The figure's paint is wonderful overall, though, with only minimal wear (there's a couple small rubs to the left side of his face, and some loss to his boots - mostly from sticking to the card). The figure does not stand well - he really could benefit from a figure stand, as he wants to fall forward. The 2x4 is still present, and is 100% original. The card back is in good condition overall but does have some stress creases, including one that runs through the bio card and light stress creases at the j-hook. There's other light wear to the card as well, and there's tearing to the paper where the 2x4 was removed. The original poster cover / holder is still here, as is the poster. The poster has spent all these years rolled up and held in its cardboard holder. It was unrolled and looked at when new, and then kept in storage with the rest of the set you see here. As you probably know, LJN wasn't the greatest in terms of treating the posters with any respect. There's some wrinkling and warpage to the poster when unrolled, but I'd think it could be flattened over time. Also, and I don't know why LJN did this, but most posters were bent in half and then rolled, which is exactly how this one is (I have kept it as originally rolled by LJN 36 years ago). I used a top loader to hold the poster down for the group shot and the other pic of the poster by itself (shown smoothed out), but the top loader is not actually included. The last pic of the poster shows the wrinkles and how it looks without any "help." This is truly a great figure, especially because it's so complete, all original, and in such wonderful condition!
