The stamp depicts the famous raising of the US Flag on Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima. The stamps are printed in the same shade of green as the uniforms of the men who raised the flag. These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office almost 80 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift for anyone interested in US military history and is a must have item for every WWII memorabilia collector!
