Description: My Dad bought this Xavier Cugat painting in Toronto in the 1970s, and it hung in my bedroom when I was a boy. Cugat (1900-1990) was a Spanish/Cuban big band leader, prominent and popular in the mid-Century, along the lines of Lawrence Welk. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xavier_Cugat This painting shows his signature style. He painted many circus scenes—mine is not unique, but it's hand-painted and not a mechanical copy. It's in good condition but not "museum quality." It's mildly valuable, but you won't flip it on Antiques Roadshow for $1M. Last time I checked, there were 2 listings on eBay at $1000+ and $2000+.
