Previously general issue from the late 70's onwards, these saw use right up to the fall of Yugoslavia and for a short time after by various former republics while they got things sorted. Now a good 50 years onwards, these parkas are slowly becoming scarce. Made to be exceptionally durable, these are a great piece of winter kit. Each coat has some great storage options, namely the "poacher's" pockets and fishtail on the back. These are big pockets, perfect for softer items, blankets, towels, clothes etc. which is great if you're looking for some help camping! Of course there's regular pockets as well, providing even more space! The liner is wonderfully warm and can be taken out on a whim thanks to the attaching buttons. Another great feature is the waxed polycotton shell (usually 50/50 but varies year to year) which provides strong and decent water resistance that also makes the whole coat windproof.
